I’m Massimo Armeli, and Horace Production is where I bring sound to life. Ever since I was ten, music has been my playground. Whether it was tinkering with instruments or exploring new sounds, I’ve always been chasing that next great melody.

Back in the '80s, when MIDI was the hot new thing, I spent my days experimenting with gear like the Korg Poly 800, Yamaha DX-7, and Roland TR-707. I even had a Minimoog waiting for its big upgrade. Those were the days of discovery, blending analog machines with the early promise of digital music.

As tech evolved, so did my curiosity. From the Commodore 64 to the Amiga and Atari ST, I embraced every new tool. Eventually, I made my way to Apple and dove into hard disk recording, experimenting with systems like the SE-30 and Power Macs. It was a game changer for how I approached music production.

But for me, it’s never just been about following trends. I’ve always aimed to keep that human touch alive—balancing analog warmth with digital precision. It’s about finding the sweet spot where creativity thrives.

In the mid-’90s, I expanded into multimedia, getting hooked on video game localization and sound design. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to work on AAA game titles, film soundtracks, and major broadcast productions. Whether it’s mixing for TV or supervising audio for cinema, I pour my heart into every project.

These days, I’m diving into the future of sound, collaborating on cutting-edge AI tools for emotional dubbing. But at the end of the day, my passion still lies in crafting unique audio experiences, whether it’s for video games, film, or music.

Horace Production is where it all comes together: post-production for games, music production, cinema audio supervision, and broadcast mixing. Big budget or small, every project gets the same care and dedication because, for me, sound isn’t just a job—it’s a way of life.
